Joanne has a wealth of experience in the UK financial services industry. Starting her career in 1990 with a major life assurance company, she became an independent financial adviser in 2000, before joining us in April 2005. With experience in both personal and business financial planning she has been providing bespoke financial advice to clients for the past 20 years.
Joanne is dedicated to giving individual advice that is entirely focussed on a client’s specific circumstances and needs – and objective, professional and efficient service that is delivered with a personal, friendly touch.
Having recently discovered that she is getting too old for the water slides at Centre Parcs, Joanne has now decided that lying on a quiet sandy beach on a remote Greek Island is her preferred holiday of choice. Outside of work, Joanne also enjoys long walks in the countryside, especially The Lake District, with the reward of a large glass of Rosé at the end.
David, our non advising Managing Director, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over 25 years’ experience in practice, following training and qualification with a national firm. As well as managing the firm, David works closely with the team to ensure clients and non-clients alike have access to good practical financial planning advice.
In any spare time that might be available David enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling to nice sunny destinations and playing golf, particularly when all these are combined.
Having joined the profession in 1997 Leza became our external compliance consultant in 2005. Leza enjoyed working with the team so much that in 2008 she accepted the role as full time Practice Manager and support to our advisers. She greatly enjoys working as a key team member providing valuable back office support, along with the day-to-day challenges of this ever-evolving sector; Leza has a wealth of experience and knowledge across the board.
Leza greatly enjoys the outdoors and most weekends can be found climbing a mountain or three no matter what the weather. Some of her personal achievements include at the age of 16 becoming a fully qualified Glider Pilot, and as a keen archer making by hand her very own 6 foot long traditional English Longbow. Her most recent claims to fame are joining the 214 Alfred Wainwright ‘completers’ list and undertaking her charity trek through the Andes in Peru in aid of Mountain Rescue. Leza has recently zipped down the fastest zip line in the world in Wales 2 weeks before Ant and Dec for her 20th Wedding Anniversary surprise from her husband.
